Gorica Panich is a Senior Lawyer and experienced Barrister and Solicitor at Beena Rezaee Legal & Migration, bringing more than 15 years of experience in legal practice, advocacy and litigation across a diverse range of complex and sensitive matters.
Admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2010 and the High Court of Australia, Gorica has extensive courtroom and tribunal experience, having appeared before the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts, Court of Criminal Appeal, Youth Court, Family Court and Federal Circuit Court, as well as SACAT and other tribunals.
Prior to joining BR Legal, Gorica was a Principal at Codex Legal, following earlier roles as a Barrister and Solicitor with established Adelaide practices. Throughout her career, she has handled complex matters involving family and children, criminal law, child protection, guardianship, mental health, estates, personal injury, Youth Court proceedings and tribunal appeals.
* Family Law & Children — parenting and children’s matters, property disputes arising from relationship breakdown, divorce, child support, family dispute resolution and related proceedings.
* Criminal Law & Intervention Orders — representation and advocacy in criminal proceedings, intervention orders and related matters before the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts and Youth Court.
* Guardianship & Mental Health Law — extensive experience in guardianship and mental health matters, including SACAT applications and appeals, inpatient treatment orders and matters arising under the Mental Health Act 2009 (SA).
* Wills, Estates & Succession — preparation of Wills, Probate and estate matters, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship arrangements and broader estate planning.
* Property & Commercial Law — advice and representation in property, commercial and business-related matters.
* Migration Law — previous experience as a Registered Migration Agent and migration consultant, including protection, family and orphan visas, departmental interviews and representation before the former Refugee Review Tribunal and Migration Review Tribunal.
Gorica holds a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Education and Bachelor of Laws/Legal Practice. Her background in education and psychology, combined with her extensive legal experience, enables her to understand complex circumstances and communicate legal issues clearly and effectively.
