Robert Yeomans

Solicitor | Adelaide

Robert was admitted to practice in December 2016. Robert started his career with us as an intern while completing his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. He currently works in our Adelaide office as a solicitor.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of South Australia

Robert provides assistance across a broad range of migration matters, but is heavily involved in preparing family and humanitarian visas. Robert manages our Community Supported Program (CSP) caseload and is responsible for liaising with the Australian Refugee Association, where he also works, to file and monitor all CSP applications our firm has helped prepare. Robert also assists with some of our Wills and Estates matters.

Robert has a strong human rights focus and is a passionate advocate. In 2017, he travelled to Europe for 18 months where he was able to gain valuable experience assisting asylum seekers on Aegean Islands in Greece.

Life before joining Beena Rezaee Legal & Migration

Before joining as a solicitor, Robert was heavily involved in the Community Legal Sector, completing internships at JusticeNet SA, the Legal Services Commission of South Australia and other grassroots organisations. He previously volunteered with the Australian Refugee Association and fundraised for Beyond Blue.

Life outside of Beena Rezaee Legal & Migration

Outside of work, Robert loves learning languages and about other cultures. After more than a decade of trying to master German, Robert has now turning his attention to learning Spanish with mixed results. During his downtime, Robert enjoys travelling, playing squash and discovering more of Adelaide’s hidden walking trails and culinary delights.
